Aims & Scope
Journal of Drug Use Disorders, Prevention and Treatment (J-DUDPT) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Emanate Publishing House Ltd.
The journal is issued biannually—in January and August—with occasional special issues. Its primary aim is to serve as a platform for international scholars to present and disseminate research in the field of social and behavioral sciences, specifically related to substance use and addiction.
Scope of the Journal
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:
- Addiction and mental health,
- Addiction assessment techniques,
- Addiction treatment,
- Alcohol use and dependence
- Cannabis use and dependence,
- Gambling addiction,
- harm reduction and recovery support.
- Illicit and prescription drugs use and dependence,
- Nicotine use and dependence,
- Substance abuse prevention.
and other fields of study with a fozus on addiction and related studies.
Submission Criteria
Papers are accepted based on alignment to the journal’s scope of coverage, novel contributions to the field, and robustness of the investigative process presented in a clear, concise and well-organized format.
The J-DUDPT publishes original papers, review papers, conceptual frameworks, analytical and simulation models, case studies, empirical research, and comprehensive book reviews.
Special Issues devoted to important topics or topics of current international interest in addiction, prevention and treatment will occasionally be published.
