Emanate Publishing invites qualified reviewers to join the editorial process of the Journal of Drug Use Disorders, Prevention and Treatment (J-DUDPT).

As a peer-reviewed, open-access journal, J-DUDPT is committed to publishing high-quality theoretical and empirical research in the fields of addiction, prevention, mental health, and treatment.

Scope of the Journal J-DUDPT publishes articles that:

  • Advance knowledge in addiction science, prevention, and treatment
  • Explore social and behavioral dimensions of substance use disorder
  • Investigate the psychological, biological, and social determinants of addictive behavior
  • Promote innovative methods in harm reduction and recovery support


We are particularly interested in reviewers with expertise in the following areas:

  • Mental health and substance use • Addiction assessment and intervention strategies
  • Alcohol, cannabis, nicotine, or opioid use
  • Gambling addiction
  • Behavioral therapy and rehabilitation
  • Substance use policy and public health


Online ISSN: will be assigned after it is published its first issue.

REVIEWER RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A doctoral degree and/or extensive professional experience in relevant disciplines
  • A strong academic publication record in addiction or behavioral sciences
  • Proficiency in English and excellent academic writing skills
  • Strong critical assessment abilities
  • Experience with peer review or editorial processes is an asset
